Bridge to Terabithia
My Reflection
Walt:I am learning to make a prediction based on the cover and blurb.
I was able to read the front cover and compare it to the other cover and point out the most common things that they both have.
Next time I will look more closer and more harder to find more information and identify some more keywords.

Anzac day
My Reflection
Walt:Find and summarize information by choosing the most important information.
I was able to use a google doc to help me get the Anzac day facts to put on my slide.
Next we gathered all the main facts into one slide and for extra facts we put them in the other slide.
I found lots of facts by looking at each paragraph and surprised the main idea in the paragraph.

Learning Reflection.
I found this activity easy because I have done lots of acrostic poems before.I did make changes to my poem after getting my feedback from Thomas and Reuben. I made some spelling mistakes and I corrected them because Reuben spotted them.
Next time when I do my writing I am going to get a red pen and edit I will underline my spelling mistakes I will check for the red lines under the incorrect spelling.

My Kennings Poem
Walt: distinguish between relevant and irrelevant ideas for my Kennings Poem.
I was able to :
- Use lots of detail.
- Only use ideas that related to me.
- Use relevant ideas.
- Not use irrelevant ideas.
- Edit my work to make my writing more about me,eg Dirt bike rider/Dirt bike extraordinaire.
Statistics
Walt : display data on histogram, tally chart.
Walt : interpret information from histograms and tally marks eg. medium, mode, range, mean.
I was able to use these scores to make my histogram.
- The range for the first name scores is 4 to 20.
- The range for the last name is 2 to 21.
- The range for the full name is 9 to 31.
At the start it was a little tricky because I had to count up all the numbers.
